Large sculpture
I created this bearcat mascot for the front of a new high school gymnasium in my hometown. It was sculpted from a light weight foam then coated with layers of fiberglass.  The peice is eight feet from ear to ear.

The horse and jockey sculpture is repainted each year with the colors of the winner of the Arkansas Derby. I have returned to Oaklawn Park in Hot Spring, Arkansas to change to colors every year since I sculpted it in 1990.

Detail of horse and jockey.

I was commissioned by the family of the late Dr. Seabaugh to sculpt him with his favorite racehorse Capetown and her colt. The finished piece is fiberglass with a metallic coating. It is installed in front of a retirement home which was named after the horse "Capetown"  in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
